The Way

Contrary to popular belief, this is not "it." There will be an after-life that will last forever—eternity. What you do in your life right now will determine how you spend your after-life. I recently saw a billboard as I was driving on the freeway. It showed the line you often see on a heart monitor in the hospital. It simply read: "When You Die, You Will Meet God." It made me think of how so many people don't realize that there is an after-life. God loves you and wants you to spend eternity in heaven with Him. I would like to share with you a few facts about Jesus Christ and salvation.

Everyone has sinned (not lived up to God's standard)
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23

The price of sin is death (sin is punishable by death)
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23

God loves you and made a way for you
to escape eternal death despite your sin.

For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

Believing in Jesus and confessing Him
as your savior is the only way to be saved.

That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:9

Those who believe in Jesus will live forever with God in Heaven, a place that is free of the pain and suffering of this world.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, nether shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Revelation 21:3-4

If you have never repented of your sins and developed a personal relationship with Christ, whereby you have accepted him as your Lord and Savior, I invite you to pray a simple prayer.

Father God, here I am
I come before you right now confessing that I have sinned against You.
I ask for Your forgiveness.
I confess that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, and I accept Him as my personal Savior.
I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross for my sin.
And You raised Him from the dead.
Now I thank You for the gift of salvation.
I pray for the wisdom and guidance to do Your will and connect with a church body where I can engage in corporate worship and learn more about You.
In Jesus' Name,
God Bless You!!!
